Maersk suspends Transpacific service in light of Gemini’s network launch
Maersk has announced the suspension of the TPX service, once the Gemini Cooperation’s “Network of the Future” takes effect in February.
Maersk’s TPX service covers North and East China, as well as North East Asia, to Pacific North West, including Alaska.
“With the introduction of the Network of the Future, we will wind down the service in the coming weeks and continue to connect the concerned areas within Gemini,” noted the Danish carrier.
