Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced two new services connecting major Chinese ports with Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
The Far East – Chennai Service 3 (FCS3), launched on 6 December, aims to establish direct connections between multiple ports in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and East India.
The port rotation of the service will be Nansha – Shekou – Ho Chi Minh City – Laem Chabang – Port Kelang – Chennai – Port Kelang – Nansha.
Additionally, OOCL’s China India Express 2 service (CIX2), expected to commence on 23 December, aims to establish direct connections between multiple ports in China and the Indian subcontinent.
The port rotation of the upcoming service will be Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Port Kelang – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Karachi – Port Kelang – Singapore – Shanghai
