Instead, he noted that since the tariffs would apply uniformly across all nations, the playing field remains level for local exporters.He urged domestic businesses to view this transition as a strategic advantage rather than a setback. By refining and curating their export activities now, Sri Lankan exporters can capitalize on the shifting market dynamics without fear of disproportionate harm to their trade relationship with the United States.
